สำหรับรายละเอียดในภาคนี้ถึงแม้ว่าจะไม่มีป่าเขตร้อนแบบภาคที่แล้วแต่กลายมาเป็นป่าคอนกรีตแทน ก็ถือว่าทำออกมาได้สวยและมีรายละเอียดที่ดีเลยทีเดียว โดยรายละเอียดในจุดต่างๆ ค่อนข้างจะทำได้ดีมาก รวมถึงสเกลที่ดูยิ่งใหญ่และสมจริงกว่าเกมใดๆ ที่เอา New York City มาเป็นฉากในการดำเนินเรื่อง แน่นอนว่าการจำลองฉากเมือง New York City ที่พังพินาศและแทบจะไม่มีผู้คนอาศัยอยู่เลยถือว่าเป็นสิ่งที่ท้าทาย แต่นับว่าทาง Crytek ทำออกมาได้ดี หน้าที่ของ Nano Suit รุ่นพัฒนาในภาคนี้ฟังก์ชั่นหลักๆ ไม่มีความแตกต่างจากภาคที่แล้ว แต่ตัวเกมในภาคนี้จะเน้นการใช้งานโหมด Maximum Armor และ Maximum Stealth มากกว่าภาคที่แล้วโดยที่จะปล่อยโหมดที่เหลือเป็นโหมดออฟชั่นเสริมแทน โดย Cevat Yerli หัวหน้าทีมพัฒนาได้ให้ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับสองโหมดนี้ว่าต้องการที่จะทำให้ผู้เล่นรับประสบการณ์การเล่นอย่างเต็มที่และแตกต่างกันระหว่างการบู๊แหลกโดยใช้ Maximum Armor ที่เป็นเกราะกันกระสุนชั้นดี กับโหมด Maximum Stealth ที่ทำให้ผู้เล่นสามารถหลบหลีกศัตรูได้ในช่วงระยะเวลาหนึ่ง นอกจากนี้โหมดอย่าง Maximum Strength ภาคที่แล้วรู้กันดีว่าโหมดนี้จะทำให้มีพละกำลังเปรียบดังยอดมนุษย์ทำให้คุณสามารถเดินทางไปยังส่วนต่างๆ ในเมืองได้สะดวกขึ้นด้วยการกระโดดข้ามไปมาระหว่างตึก (ใช่ครับอ่านไม่ผิดแน่นอน) แต่การกระโดดไม่ได้กระโดดแล้วดูเกินจริงแบบเกมอื่นๆ เช่น Crackdown, inFamous นะครับเนื่องจากสเกลของเกมนี้จะเน้นความสมจริงเป็นหลักมากกว่า
