ได้เวลาผจญภัยไป 3 สหายนักรบจอมอึด จอมเวทย์เฒ่าและ โจรสาวกันอีกครั้งกับเกมอินดี้แนว Aside - Scroling Fantasy Action - Adventure ภาคต่ออย่าง Trine 2 โดยภาคต่อการผจญภัยครั้งใหม่ ที่กลับมาคราวนี้จะเป็นการพาไปยัง ดินแดนใหม่ ปริศนาใหม่ และลูกเล่นที่มากยิ่งขึ้น พร้อมกราฟฟิคที่พัฒนามาอย่างงาม
ตัวเกมส์มีสิ่งที่ดึงดูดผู้เล่นด้วยสองสิ่งหลัก ได้แก่ ปริศนาฟิสิกส์ และ การสับเปลี่ยนคาแรคเตอร์ ระหว่างโจร , นักรบ และผู้ใช้เวทย์มนต์ เราต้องใช้ความสามารถเฉพาะตัวของแต่ละบุคคล และหลักฟิสิกส์ในโลกแห่งความเป็นจริง เพื่อไปให้ถึงเป้าหมาย
ในภาคนี้ยังมีการเพิ่มเติมพลังใหม่ๆ อย่างเช่น ผู้ใช้คาถาสามารถยกตัวศัตรูได้ราวกับว่าเขาเป็นอัศวินเจได ในขณะที่โจรเองก็สามารถที่จะหยุดเวลาให้ช้าลงได้ชั่วขณะเช่นกัน
