หลังจากเจ้าชายสามารถปิดผนึกทรายแห่งกาลเวลาและปราบ Vizier ผู้คิดคดทรยศต่อผืนแผ่นดินลงจนบ้านเมืองเริ่มกลับมาส งบสุข (The Sands of Time) อีกครั้งหนึ่ง หลังจากนั้นเจ้าชายจึงได้ออกเดินทางไปยังอาณาจักรของ พี่ชายที่ชื่อ "Malik" ในดินแดน Azad ซึ่งในตอนนี้กำลังถูกข้าศึกรุกโจมตีอยู่ แต่ก็ดูเหมือนกองกำลังของ Malik และเจ้าชายจะไม่สามารถต้านทานข้าศึกที่กำลังรุกรานเข ้ามาได้ ทำให้ทั้งสองตัดสินใจปลดปล่อยทรายต้องห้าม เพื่อที่ตนจะได้สามารถสร้างกองทัพมนุษย์ทรายเข้าทำลา ยข้าศึกได้ แต่ดูเหมือนจะไม่มีใครได้รับรู้ถึงผลข้างเคียงที่ตาม มา เพราะนอกจากทรายต้องห้ามจะทำลายข้าศึกที่เข้ามารุกรา นจนหมดสิ้นแล้ว เม็ดทรายจำนวนมากยังเปลี่ยนผู้คนในเมืองรวมถึงกองทัพ ของ Malik ให้กลายเป็นทรายพร้อมการกำเนิดกองทัพปีศาจจำนวนมากมา ยขึ้น เจ้าชายและ Malik จะทำอย่างไร เขาจะต่อสู้กับกองทัพปีศาจทรายจำนวนมากนั้นได้หรือไม ่ คุณคือผู้กำหนดชะตาชีวิตของพวกเขาแล้ว...
