หลายคนอาจจะสงสัยว่าไอ้เกม Need for Speed นี่มันต้องดูสเป็คขั้นต่ำด้วยหรือ? ตอนแรกตัวผมก็คิดเช่นนั้นเหมือนกันแต่คำถามดังกล่าวนั้นมันก็ได้รับคำตอบกลับมาทันทีเมื่อผมนึกขึ้นได้ว่า Need for Speed:The Run นั้นจะใช้เอ็นจิ้นขั้นเทพอย่าง Frostbite 2.0 ตัวเดียวกับที่ใช้ใน Battlefield 3 ของ Dice เป็นขุมพลังสร้างภาพกราฟฟิคนั่นเอง โดยทางเว็บไซต์ etechnoholik ก็ได้นำเสป็คขั้นต่ำและสเป็คแนะนำพร้อมฟีเจอร์เด่นๆข้างกล่องออกมาเปิดเผยกันแล้วโดยมีรายละเอียดดังนี้
