The GodFather ตอนแรกผู้ผลิตจะให้สวมบทบาทเป็น Michael Corleone แต่ต่อมาได้เปลี่ยนไปเป็นในทางอิสระแทน ทำให้เราสร้างตัวละครของตัวเองเข้าไปสู้เรื่องใน The Godfather ได้

ตัวผู้เล่นเองจะสามารถปรับแต่งตัวละครที่ชื่นชอบได้ตามอิสระ ทั้งหน้าตาเสื้อผ้าที่แต่งแล้วจะเพิ่มค่าความเกรงขาม ไว้สำหรับขู่เข็นคนจะเปลี่ยนได้ก็ต่อเมื่อตอนที่โหลดเกมก่อนเข้าไปเล่น...
