Empire Earth 2 Gold Edition: เป็นเกมส์แนว RTS วางแผนการรบที่ว่าด้วยการต่อสู้ทำสงครามโลกของประเทศต่างๆ โดยเราสามารถเลือกเล่นสงครามได้ในทุกๆ ยุคสมัย และจะแบ่งยูนิตออกเป็นยุคสมัยต่างๆ จากยุคโบราณเข้าสู่ยุคที่ไฮเทคมากยิ่งขึ้น และเราสามารถพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีของเมืองได้ด้วยตัวเอง เช่นจากเดิมที่ใช้ดาบ ใช้หอก ขี่ม้า ก็พัฒนากลายเป็นใช้ปืน ขี่รถถัง นั่งเครื่องบินรบกันเป็นต้น และนอกจากจะให้ความรู้เรื่องวิวัฒนาการของสงครามแล้ว เกมนี้ห้ความรู้ด้านประวัติศาสตร์ของสงครามในแต่ละยุคสมัยอีกต่างหากด้วย โดยเลือกเล่นที่โหมด Campaign ก็จะได้เล่นสงครามเป็นลำดับจากยุคหินไปเรื่อยจนยุคอวกาศเลยทีเดียว :cool:
