สำหรับเนื้อหาใน DLC ตัวใหม่ของ Batman: Arkham Origins ‘Cold, Cold Heart’ นั้นจะอ้างอิงจาก Batman Animate Series Episode 14 ที่พูดถึงต้นกำเนิดของ Mr.Freeze หนึ่งในตัวร้ายที่ทุกคนชอบมากที่สุดเป็นฐานหลัก เรื่องราวจะเกิดในช่วง New Year Eve หลังจากจบเรื่องราวใน Arkham Origins ไป Bruce Wayne ได้จัดงาน Humanitarian of the Year ขึ้นมา และผู้ที่ได้รับรางวัลคือ Ferris Boyle ผู้บริหารบริษัท Gothcorp อันแสนดี แต่หารู้ไม่ว่าเชาได้สร้างเรื่องราวอันโหดร้ายกับคนๆหนึ่งไว้ เขามีนามว่า Victor Fries หรือ Mr.Freeze นั่นเอง และนี่ คือการเอาคืนจากผู้ที่พรากภรรยาอันเป็นที่รักของ Victor คืนครับ ตัวเกมจะนำเสนอชุดเกราะใหม่ของ Batman ที่ใช้สำหรับต่อสู้กับ Freeze โดยเฉพาะด้วย
