BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger เกม Arcade แนว Fighting สองมิติที่ลงทั้งXBOX360และPS3มาแล้วซึ่งใน Continuum Shift ได้เพิ่มตัวละครในเวอร์ชั่นเกมตู้มาอีก 2 ตัวคือ Tsubaki Yayoi และ Hazama โดยแฟนๆในภาคแรกน่าจะจำกันได้เพราะทั้ง 2 เป็นพวกตัวละครเสริมในโหมดเนื้อเรื่องเท่านั้น ไม่สามารถเอามาเล่นได้แต่ใน CS แฟนๆจะได้บังคับตัวเหล่านี้้แล้ว และในเวอร์ชั่นคอนโซลนั้นนอกจากจะพอร์ตมาจากอาร์เคดแบบเป๊ะๆแล้ว ทีมพัฒนายังเพิ่มตัวละครมาให้อีก เท่าที่เปิดเผยในตอนนี้อีก 1 ตัว คือ u-12 โดยตัวละครตัวนี้จะมีฉากการต่อสู้เป็นของตัวเองโดยเฉพาะด้วย
