Dark Souls 2 กลับมาอีกครั้งกับซีรีย์ Soul เกมในตำนานที่หลายท่านน่าจะรู้จักกันดี แต่ถ้าสำหรับใครที่ยังไม่รู้จักผมจะนิยามคำสั้นๆให้ง่ายๆว่า "เตรียมตัวตายหลายๆรอบ" สำหรับใครที่ไม่เถื่อนพอหรือเป็นผู้เล่นใหม่มีร้องกันแน่นอน แต่ถ้าเล่นจนเป็นแบบผมบอกได้เลยว่า "ตายจนชิน" "ตายจนไม่รู้จะตายยังไงแล้ว" แล้วหลังจากตายบ่อยๆจนรู้เทคนิคก็จะจับทางมันได้เองครับ สำหรับเกมนี้บอกได้เลยว่าไม่ยากมากเท่าไหร่ แต่ถ้าพลาดแม้แต่นิดเดียวก็เตรียมตัวเกิดใหม่ได้เลยครับ
Dark Souls 2 มี DLC ใหม่ถึง 3 ตัวเลยทีเดียว โดยที่ DLC ตัวแรกจะใช้ชื่อว่า The Lost Crowns trilogy ซึ่งจะปล่อยออกมาในวันที่ 22 กรกฏาคม 2014 ต่อมาตัวที่สอง Crown of the Old Iron King จะปล่อยในวันที่ 26 สิงหาคม 2014 สุดท้าย Crown of the Ivory King จะตามออกมาอย่างต่อเนื่องในวันที่ 24 กันยายน 2014 โดยที่ทุก DLC นั้นจะมีการเพิ่มแผนที่ใหม่ มอนสเตอร์ใหม่ และบอสมหาโหดให้ผู้เล่นมันส์กันแบบตายจนเบื่อ....
