AutoRuns คือ โปรแกรมสำหรับจัดการโปรแกรมต่างๆ ที่จะทำการเปิดตัวเองอัตโนมัติในขณะที่เราเปิดเครื่องหรือบูท Windows เพราะปกติแล้ว Windows จะสามารถเรียกเปิดโปรแกรมต่างๆ พร้อมกับตอนเปิดเครื่องได้เลยอัตโนมัติ หรือที่เค้าเรียกว่า AutoRuns โดย Windows จะเรียกโปรแกรมที่ตั้งให้เปิดใช้งานอัตโนมัตินี้ ผ่านส่วนที่เรียกว่า Startup โปรแกรมนี้ได้ถูกสร้างขึ้นโดย Microsoft เอง เพื่อให้เราสามารถจัดการกับ โปรแกรมที่เปิดอัตโนมัติได้อย่างง่ายดาย และลึกเอามากๆ ซึ่งไม่ใช่แค่โปรแกรม แต่รวมไปถึงส่วนอื่นที่ถูกเรียกเปิดอัตโนมัตตอนเปิดเครื่องด้วย
