Breach & Clear: Deadline ถูกพัฒนามาจาก Breach & Clear เกมที่เป็นแนววางแผนหน่วยพิเศษเข้าจัดการภารกิจต่างๆ บนมือถือและ PC แต่คราวนี้เป็นการกำจัดเหล่าผู้ติดเชื้อแทน โดยจะเป็นการวางแผนพาหน่วยพิเศษเอาตัวรอดจากเมืองที่เต็มไปด้วยซอมบี้ในแต่ละภารกิจ ซึ่งจะเป็นหน่วยพิเศษในโลกจริงอย่าง US Army Rangers, Germany's KSK, Canada’s JTF2, UK SAS และอื่นๆ อีก ซึ่งจะมีความสามารถเฉพาะทางที่แตกต่างกันไป
