Agarest: Generations of War 2 เกม RPG สาวตรึมจากเครื่อง Playstation 3 มาลงให้กับ PC ตัวเกมจะเปลี่ยนรูปแบบการต่อสู้ไปเป็นแบบ Active Grid-Based Battle System แทนระบบแบบ Tactic สำหรับการต่อสู้แบบ Active Grid-Based Battle System ผู้เล่นจะต้องเลือกกดปุ่มคำสั่งโจมตี 4 ชนิด ซึ่งการเรียงลำดับปุ่มที่แตกต่างกันก็จะส่งผลต่อ Combo ที่แตกต่างกันด้วย ส่วนการโจมตีแบบ EX.Skills ก็ยังคงไว้เช่นเดิมแต่จะถูกเรียกว่า Original Skills แทน ในภาคนี้จะมี 3 Generation, สมาชิกในเกมมีทั้งหมด 18 คน (รุ่นแรก 7 คน, รุ่นที่สอง 6 คน, รุ่นสุดท้าย 5 คน), ใช้ระบบ AAA(Active Animation Adventure) ทำให้ตัวละครเคลื่อนไหวได้ในฉากพูดคุยแบบสองมิติ, มีระบบความสัมพันธ์, ในการต่อสู้สามารถเลือกตัวละครลงเล่นได้แค่ 4 คนเท่านั้น, สามารถเปลี่ยนตัวละครขณะต่อสู้ได้, สามารถเลือกเจ้าสาวได้โดยไม่สนระดับความสัมพันธ์, ยกเลิกระบบ Will Power, CG บางรูปสามารถขยับได้, สามารถเดินทางไปยังเกาะใน Generation ต่างๆได้อย่างอิสระ, เพิ่ม Mini-Games ชวนหื่นเช่นการอาบน้ำในบ่อน้ำพุร้อนหรือการนวดผ่อนคลาย
