Valhalla Hills เกมแนวจำลองการสร้างเมือง เนื้อเรื่องของเกมนี้ จะพูดถึงชนเผ่าไวกิ้งที่ถูกเทพโอดินปิดประตูแอสการ์ด เพื่อไม่ให้ไปถึงวัลฮาลาดินแดนแห่งคำสัญญา โดยเหล่าไวกิ้งได้สร้างหมู่บ้านรอบๆ โล่ที่อยู่ตรงประตูดังกล่าว ผู้เล่นจะต้องทำให้เหล่าไว้กิ้ง
ข้ามประตูดังกล่าวไปให้ได้ โดยต้องใช้สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกต่างๆ ที่ถูกสร้างขึ้นในหมู่บ้านนั่นเอง ซึ่งเกมนี้ได้ผู้พัฒนาอย่าง Thomas Hauser ผู้ที่เคยทำผลงานออกมาอย่าง The Settlers II มาเป็นผู้พัฒนาหลักของเกมนี้
