เกมส์ Dead Effect 2 เป็นเกมส์แนว FPS action มันส์สะใจ โดยที่เนื้อเรื่องคร่าวๆจะเกี่ยวกับการทดลองที่ผิดพลาดในสถานีอวกาศแห่งหนึ่ง
ซึ่งแนวเกมส์ก็จะออกแนว ซอมบี้บวกกับกลิ่นอาย Sci-Fi นิดๆ (ผมเรียกเกมส์แนวๆนี้ว่า ซอมบี้ไฮเทค) โดยที่เกมส์นี้ถูกทำออกมาเป็นเกมส์ Single Player
ไม่สามารถเล่นหลายๆคนได้นะครับ เราสามารถเลือกได้3สายประกอบไปด้วย 1.ปืนกล-ยิงสาดกระจาย! ปืนกล+กระสุน=ชนะทุกอย่าง 2.ปืนลูกซอง-สายนี้
จะบ้าพลังน้อยกว่า ปืนกลลงมาหน่อย อาจจะต้องมีการคิดวางแผนไหวพริบเล็กน้อยสำหรับสายนี้ 3.CQC(การป้องกันตัวระยะใกล้)-สายนี้อาวุธหลักๆจะเป็น
อาวุธระยะใกล้เช่น มีด ดาบ ไม้ เลื่อย ซึ่งสายนี้เล่นยากมากเนื่องจากจะต้องเอาตัวเข้าไปแลก แต่ความเท่ความหล่อนี่มาเต็มแน่นอน
