สำหรับเกม RWBY: Grimm Eclipse จะมาในรูปแบบที่สามารถเล่นได้สูงสุด 4 ผู้เล่นแบบ co-op
,มีสไตล์การเล่นแบบ hack-n-slash ซึ่งผู้เล่นจะได้สัมผัสตัวละครจากซีรีย์การ์ตูนอย่าง Ruby,
Weiss, Blake, และ Yang ดำเนินผจญภัยไปตามเนื้อเรื่อง ต่อสู้กับ Grimm แบบใหม่ รวมไปถึง
วายร้ายหน้าใหม่อีกด้วย ตัวเกมได้แรงบันดาลใจมาจาก Dynasty Warriors และ Left 4 Dead
ซึ่งแต่ละด่านก็จะมีจุดพีคที่ต้องต่อสู้เหมือนกับบอสท้ายด่านนั่นแหละครับ ส่วนด้านล่างเป็นเกมเพลย์นิดหน่อยช่วง
