The world changed when alterIWnet was released. This allowed MW2 to have servers. Now, alterOps for Black Ops beta has been released. Here is the tutorial on how to try it.
*****HUGE NOTE****
As of 10/18/11, the alterOps beta has closed to fix a error in the server packet sending/reciving. So that is why the game may not work. Also the DLC link is broken because of the beta ending. But if you want to help us out, still click it. It helps a lot. -MoNeYINPHX-
*Written Tutorial*
1.Make sure you have a alterIWnet account older then 6 months and at least 25 posts. [No spam or ban will occur]
2. Go to alterOps.net and see if you qualify. Download the files, [Not Server keys]
3. Drag alterOps.exe and the .dll folder into your Black Ops Dirrectory.
4. Run alterOps.exe with Admin Access.Allow the files to download.
5. Sign in with your alterIWnet account and have fun.
NOTES: We will NOT give support on alterOps because the Alter team doesn't give any info about the beta let alone support. No torrent links will be given. The servers go up and down randomly because this is an unstable beta.
