Pulang Insanity เป็นเกมสยองขวัญสั่นประสาทแนวจิตวิทยาโดยมีเรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับความเชื่อของวัฒนธรรมชาวอินโดนีเซีย เกมบอกเล่าเรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับชายชื่อ Rudy ซึ่งกำลังประสบสภาวะสิ้นไร้ไม้ตอก ไม่มีเงินและยังมีหนี้สินล้นพ้น แต่เขาสามารถก้าวข้ามผ่านความยากลำบากมาได้ด้วยพิธีกรรมที่เรียกว่า Pesugihan ทว่าความสุขนั้นกลับไม่จีรัง ตัวเกมจะนำเสนอบรรยากาศความหลอนสยองที่แตกต่างไปจากเกมอื่นๆ และจะมีปริศนามากให้ผู้เล่นได้แก้ไขค้นหาคำตอบตลอดทั้งเกม
