ยูบิซอฟต์ ออกมาเผยข้อมูลเกมลอบสังหารภาคล่าสุด Assassin's Creed: Revelations จะใส่มิชชั่น
แบบมุมมองบุคคลที่หนึ่งเข้ามาเป็นครั้งแรกของซีรีย์ เพื่อช่วยตัวเอกที่กำลังติดอยู่ภายในจิตใจของตนเอง

สปอยล์ "ฟัลโค ปอยเกอร์" (Falco Poiker) ผู้กำกับดีไซน์เกม Assassin's Creed: Revelations ออกมาระบุผ่านเว็บไซต์ SPOnG ว่าตัวเกมดังกล่าวจะมีสเตจที่ผู้เล่นจะต้องสวมบทเป็น "เดสมอนด์ ไมลส์" ตัวเอกในยุคปัจจุบันที่กำลังติดอยู่ในอนิมัส หลังจากที่เขาสลบเข้าอาการโคม่าในตอนจบภาคที่แล้ว "เพื่อช่วยเดสมอนด์ ผู้เล่นจะต้องทำการเคลียร์ภารกิจต่างๆในแต่ละห้องที่มีลักษณะคล้ายเกมแพลตฟอร์มแบบแปลกๆ คุณจำเป็นต้องเล่นด้วยตัวเองถึงจะเข้าใจ เพราะมันยากสำหรับผมที่จะอธิบายมัน มันเหมือนกับเกมแนวแพลตฟอร์มสไตล์ใหม่ในมุมองบุคคลที่หนึ่ง ซึ่งแตกต่างออกไปจากแนวการเล่นปกติโดยสิ้นเชิง และมันดูเจ๋งมากทีเดียว เมื่อเล่นฉากนี้จบผู้เล่นจะได้รับรู้ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับตัวเดสมอนด์ทั้งเรื่องราวเบื้องหลัง ที่มาที่ไปรวมไปถึงชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ ซึ่งภาพและองค์ประกอบต่างๆในฉากจะเหมือนกับความฝันของชีวิตเขานั่นเอง" ปอยเกอร์ กล่าว

ปอยเกอร์ กล่าวต่อว่าแรงบันดาลใจที่ใกล้เคียงกับฉากเหตุการณ์ดังกล่าวมากที่สุดคงเป็นภาพยนตร์เรื่อง 'Inception' ที่ตัวเอกติดอยู่ภายในจิตใจตนเอง ซึ่งเดสมอนด์จะอยู่ในดินแดนแห่งความฝันเช่นเดียวกัน เพียงแต่เขาสามารถที่จะเข้าถึงความทรงจำของทั้งเอซิโอและอัลแตร์ได้ นอกจากนี้ผู้เล่นยังจะได้พบตัวละครที่คุ้นหน้าคุ้นตาปรากฏในฉากเหตุการณ์นี้ด้วย "มันมีตัวละครที่ผู้เล่นสามารถพูดคุยด้วยได้ในอนิมัส ซึ่งเคยถูกบอกใบ้ในเกมก่อนหน้านี้แล้ว ผมไม่รู้ว่าผู้เล่นจะคิดออกไหมว่าใครเป็นใครแล้วมาจากไหน แต่......(หัวเราะ)" ปอยเกอร์ กล่าวปิดท้าย ซึ่งตัวละครดังกล่าวคาดว่าน่าจะเป็น "Subject 16" ตัวอย่างทดลองขององค์กร Abstergo Industries ที่คอยชี้นำเดสมอนด์ในเกมภาคสองและบราเธอร์ฮูดผ่านทางข้อความลับ
