Gameplay Enhancements
New Feature: Chat Wheel
Use it by pressing [R] on keyboard or [X] on gamepad
Communicate with your opponent through simple, easy to use messages
Note: be sure that this button is bound
Added input buffering for attacks and shoves - should make combat feel smoother over all
This should increase the window you have to chain attacks together or perform follow-up attacks
Parrying in online matches should now be more accurate and responsive
Turning your character around is faster
Character movement is much more responsive
Slowed down mace and flail attacks
Reduced staggered impact when getting hit by blunt weapons
Spear now deals damage later in the attack animation
Quality of Life Additions
Selecting the answer I wish to die when asked to do the tutorial prevents the prompt from returning
Added a prompt for Quick Play to alert you that found matches have high ping - This gives you the option of hosting your own match instead of joining one
Bugfixes
All plumes are now unlockable through adversary matches
The Zweihander weapon is now unlockable through both Adversary duels and the Campaign
The final bosss head is now properly aligned
Bot equipment now updates immediately when entering an Encounter
Changing the keybind for Shove now works correctly
Changing the keybind for turning now works correctly
Added keybind options for Face Left and Face Right
Rebuilt reflection on Woods
Hotfix:
Fixed instances where remapping keyboard controls would lock the player out of using or remapping certain inputs.
A V-Sync option has been added to the Video Options menu.
Campaign starts with 5 lives instead of 3.
Added turning into last stand mode when losing all health in horde on campaign mode.
Players begin obstructing one another slightly farther away - this is to reduce player hugging.
The effect that ice has on the player has been reduced.
AI jumping is now better in fights.
Enhanced lighting on Crypts for added visibility.
New network error notifications.
Shoves and kicks have a greater effect on opponents to allow for more consistent follow-up attacks.
Woods foreground elements reduced and resized.
Q and E no longer change the direction that you face - this was to allow keyboard users more flexibility in the control schemes.
Adversaries should now appear more consistently after encounters and campaign.
