Dragon Ball Z : Kakarot เป็นผลงานเกมจากทาง CyberConnect2 และจัดจำหน่ายโดยทาง Bandai Namco ซึ่ง ตัวเกมจะถูกถ่ายทอดเป็นเกม Action RPG (แอบนึกถึง Xenoverse) มีการรับส่งเควสท์ที่เหมือนเกมออกแนว MMORPG ซึ่งตัวเกมในตอนนี้ระบุออกมาว่า ผู้เล่นจะต้องรับบทเป็น ซุน โกคู (หรือเด็กหนวดหลายคนรู้จักในชื่อโงกุน) ที่ต้องรับเควสท์การฝึกฝนตัวเองให้เป็นสุดยอดนักสู้ เพื่อรับมือกับศัตรูจากนอกโลก โดยจะเป็นการเล่าที่ลงลึกในรายละเอียดในการได้พลังต่างๆของโกคูอีกด้วย และกิจวัตรประจำวัน ฝึกวิชา ตกปลา ทำกับข้าว ก็ต้องทำด้วยเช่นกัน
