Minecraft Dungeons คือเกมรูปแบบใหม่ในแฟรนไชส์เดิมของ Mojang จากเดิมที่เป็นเกมแนว Sandbox ในครั้งนี้มันมาเป็นแนว Hack & Slash เดินหน้าลุยฟันไม่เลี้ยงที่ผสมผสานเข้ากับแนว Dungeon Crawler ที่คุณจะต้องเลือกดันเจี้ยนแล้วปรับความยากเองก่อนเข้าไปเผชิญหน้ากับฝูงมอนสเตอร์
ตัวเกมยังคงมีกลิ่นอายความเป็น Minecraft อยู่อย่างเต็มเปี่ยม เช่นมอนสเตอร์ในเกมที่คุ้นหน้าคุ้นตาเราอย่าง เจ้าโครงกระดูกยอดนักธนูที่ชื่อ Skeleton หรือ เจ้าจอมระเบิดที่เห็นทีไรเป็นต้องหนีให้ห่างอย่าง Creeper เป็นต้น ในส่วนของกราฟิกก็ไม่ทำให้เราผิดหวังครับ เพราะมันยังคงความเป็นเหลี่ยมอยู่เหมือนเดิม แต่เพิ่มเติมคือสวยงามและสดใหม่มากขึ้น
