Wasteland 3 เกมแนว Role-Playing Game Strategy จากค่าย inXile Entertainment ที่มี Location ทุละกันดารและหนาวเหน็บโดยใช้ Colorado ในสหรัฐอเมริกาเป็นแบบอย่างพื้นฐานของเกม ผู้เล่นจะต้องพาเหล่า Survivor ให้รอดชีวิตจากภัยคุกคามต่าง ๆ ไม่ว่าจะเป็น ศัตรูร้ายที่เป็นคน อสูรกลายพันธุ์ หรือแม้แต่เครื่องจักรสังหาร
