Tour de France 2021 เป็นเกมแนวกีฬาผลงานของ Cyanide Studio ที่เกมในภาคนี้จะได้ทาง Nacon มาเป็นผู้จัดจำหน่าย โดยเกมจะให้ผู้เล่นได้สวมบทบาทเป็นนักปั่น หรือจะรับบทผู้นำทีมก็ได้ในการแข่งขันรายการ Tour de France ที่เกมได้รับลิขสิทธิ์มาอย่างเป็นทางการ

ใน Tour de France 2021 ผู้เล่นจะได้เข้าแข่งขันในรายการ Tour de France 2021 ผ่านการแข่งขันในสนามที่อิงกับเส้นทางการแข่งขันจริงทั้งหมด ทั้ง 21 เส้นทาง และเกมยังมาพร้อมกับการแข่งขันที่ไม่เป็นทางการอย่าง Breizh Cup, Euro Tour, Giro di Como หรือ World Championships อีกด้วย โดยผู้เล่นจะได้เข้าแข่งขันกับทีมแข่งระดับโลกต่างๆ ที่ได้ลิขสิทธิ์มาอย่างถูกต้องทั้ง Alpecin-Fenix, B&B Hotels P/B KTM และ Total Direct Engine

โดยเกมจะมีโหมดการเล่นให้ผู้เล่นสามารถคุมนักแข่งเพียงคนเดียวหรือจะควบคุมทีมทั้งหมดก็ได้ และเกมยังมีโหมด “Pro Leader” ให้ผู้เล่นสามารถสร้างนักปั่นของตัวเองที่มีสไตล์การปั่นให้เลือกเล่นถึงสี่สไตล์ด้วยกันทั้ง สไตล์การปั่นแบบ mountain biker, sprinter, puncher และ all-rounder ซึ่งเกมการเล่นในโหมดนี้จะให้ผู้เล่นได้ไต่เต้าจากการเป็นนักปั่นในระดับล่างขึ้นไปจนกลายเป็นนักปั่นระดับโลก ซึ่งเกมในภาคนี้ยังมาพร้อมกับระบบ “My Tour” ให้ผู้เล่นได้สร้างการแข่งขันในรูปแบบของตัวเองได้อีกด้วย
