GreedFall เป็นเกมแอ็คชันแนว RPG ที่ให้ความรู้สึกเหมือนอยู่ในดินแดนตะวันตก ตัวเกมถูกเซ็ตฉากอยู่ในโลกยุคล่าอาณานิคมช่วงศตวรรษที่ 17 ซึ่งได้รับแรงบันดาลใจมาจาก Dragon Age เกมซีรีส์ระดับตำนานของใครหลายคน
ทั้งนี้เกมดังกล่าวได้รับความนิยมอย่างมากจากเหล่าบรรดาผู้เล่นทั่วโลก เนื่องจาก Spiders สามารถออกแบบตัวละครได้เป็นอย่างดี รวมไปถึงมีอาวุธและทักษะเฉพาะที่สร้างสรรค์ จนเกมดังกล่าวกลายเป็นที่พูดถึงอย่างมากเมื่อช่วงปี 2019
อย่างไรก็ตามสำหรับ The De Vespe Conspiracy เกมภาคเสริมของ GreedFall จะมีการเพิ่มเนื้อเรื่องและพื้นที่ใหม่ ๆ เข้ามาภายในเกม โดยจะเป็น Map ใหม่ที่ผู้เล่นไม่เคยสัมผัสมาก่อน รวมไปถึงศัตรูกลุ่มใหม่ ๆ ที่เพิ่มความท้าทายให้กับผู้เล่นอย่างมาก
