Seed of the Dead: Sweet Home จะเป็นเกมแนวเดินหน้ายิงมุมมองบุคคลที่หนึ่ง (FPS) ที่ผู้เล่นจำเป็นต้องเอาตัวรอดจากเหล่าซอมบี้ ตัวเกมมีระบบอัพสกิลความสามารถที่แบ่งเป็นสายต่างๆ เช่น ความสามารถในการใช้ปืน โชคในการดรอปไอเทม ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างเพื่อนร่วมทีม (ตัวละครสาวน่ารักภายในเกม) ตัวเกมยังมีอาวุธให้เลือกใช้งานมากมายเกมเพลย์สนุก เล่นได้นานประมาณ 15-30 ชั่วโมงเลยทีเดียว จุดเด่นของเกมคงหนีไม่พ้นตัวละครสุดน่ารักทั้ง 4 ที่เราสามารถสานสัมพันธ์และมีฉากโรแมนติกด้วย
