F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch เป็นผลงานการพัฒนาของทีมงาน TiGames ทีมพัฒนาอิสระจากเซี่ยงไฮ้ โดยตัวเกมจะเล่าเรื่องราวผ่านตัวละคร เรย์ตัน (Rayton) กระต่ายอดีตหน่วยต่อต้านสงครามที่ต้องไปตามหาเพื่อนของเขาที่ถูกกองทัพหุ่นยนต์ Machine Legion จับตัวไป ซึ่งเรย์ตัน จะต้องออกผจญภัยไปในเมือง Torch City ที่ถูกเหล่าหุ่นยนต์ครอบครองอยู่ และต้องต่อสู้กับเหล่าบรรดาจักรกลด้วยแขนกลอาวุธหลักของเขานั่นเอง

ซึ่งแผนที่ Torch City ในเกม F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch จะเต็มไปด้วยการต่อสู้, ปริศนา, และแพลตฟอร์มต่างๆ และมีพื้นที่แต่ละเขตเชื่อมโยงถึงกัน โดยตัวเกมก็จะมาพร้อมกับระบบการต่อสู้ทำคอมโบแบบจัดเต็มที่จะเป็นการใช้อาวุธหลักอย่างแขนกลของเรย์ตันในการต่อสู้ที่สามารถเปลี่ยนโหมดเป็นหมัด, สว่าน, และแส้ ได้โดยที่แต่ละรูปแบบก็จะมีการควบคุมและจุดเด่นที่แตกต่างกันออกไป ซึ่งตัวเกมยังใช้ขุมพลังอย่าง Unreal Engine 4 อย่างเต็มที่ในการสร้างฉากต่างๆ ที่มาพร้อมกับสถาปัตยกรรมแบบ dieselpunk รวมไปถึงโมเดลตัวละครที่มีความละเอียดเป็นอย่างมากอีกด้วย
