Endzone - A World Apart เกมแนว City Builder ที่จะให้ผู้เล่นสวมบทเป็นผู้ใหญ่บ้าน สร้างนครเมืองขึ้นมาใหม่ภายในช่วงหลังวันสิ้นโลกจากระเบิดนิวเคลียร์ เพื่อทำให้ชนเผ่ามนุษย์สามารถอยู่รอดต่อไปได้ในที่สุด ถือเป็นอีกหนึ่งเกมที่คนรักเกมสร้างเมืองจะต้องชอบกันไม่ใช่น้อย เพราะในปัจจุบัน เราแทบจะไม่ได้เห็นเกมแนวนี้ในธีมหลังวันสิ้นโลกเลย
สำหรับเกมดังกล่าวนี้ ก็จะเป็นเกมสร้างเมืองที่มีปัจจัยหลักคือความท้าทายจากการเอาชีวิตรอดยังไงให้ได้สำเร็จ ผู้เล่นจะไม่ได้แค่ต้องมาหาเงินเพื่อสร้างที่อยู่อาศัย, สร้างสถานที่พักผ่อนใจ หรือสร้างโรงงานเหมือนหลักสูตรเกมสร้างเมืองทั่วไปเท่านั้น แต่ผู้เล่นจะต้องสร้างแหล่งผลิตอาหาร กับน้ำ, วางแผนรับมือสารกัมมันตรังสี, ฝน และพายุทะเลทรายตลอดเวลา ซึ่งก็เรียกได้ว่าเป็นภัยธรรมชาติ และศัตรูที่น่ากลัวมาก แต่ก็เป็นจุดขายที่ทำให้เกมน่าสนใจไม่ใช่น้อยๆ
ส่วนการที่ได้ทำออกมาให้เป็นเกมวางแผนนี้ ก็แน่นอนว่าผู้เล่นจะมีลูกเล่นอะไรหลายๆ อย่างให้สามารถเอาชีวิตรอดไปได้หลากรูปแบบนั่นเอง ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการส่งหน่วยลาดตระเวนไปตามหาสิ่งของต่างๆ, ทำภารกิจเสริมเพื่อให้ชาวเมืองพอใจ และสร้างสถานที่มีจุดเด่นแตกต่างกันได้มากถึง 30 ชนิด
