Max Payne 3 เป็นเกมส์แอคชั่นจาก Rockstar Games เป็นเกมส์ภาคล่าสุดที่กล่าวถึง Max Payne ตัวละครเอกที่จมปลักกับอดีตมีเหล้าย้อมใจ และผันตัวเป็นบอดี้การ์ดให้กับบริษัทเอกชนในบราซิล แต่แล้วลูกสาวของเจ้าของบริษัทถูกลักพาตัวโดยกลุ่มก่อการร้ายไป ทำให้ Max Payne ต้องช่วยเหลือและรักษาชีวิตกับเจ้าของบริษัทที่ถูกข่มขู่ในเวลาเดียวกันให้ได้ เกมส์ภาคนี้เน้นหนักด้านเนื้อเรื่องแบบเต็มเปี่ยม ทำให้ผู้เล่นตามติดเนื้อเรื่องตั้งแต่ต้นจนจบอย่างน่าติดตาม พร้อมกับมีสิ่งหักมุมชนิดที่ไม่ได้คาดคิด ที่น่าสนใจคือ คัดซีนกับตัวเกมได้คั่นชนิดที่เนียนมาก มันทำให้ผู้เล่นได้พร้อมเล่นโดยทันทีหลักจากที่ตัวละครเล่าเรื่องเป็นที่เรียบร้อยแล้ว
