Elegant GRAY - How to use the style with all its functions

1. First step is installing the fonts. Right click on the selected fonts and choose install.

2. Now you need a patched system, that means you have to patch your system files.
There is a nice tool available that helps you with the work:
UniversialUxthemePatcher [get it here: http://deepxw.blogspot.com/2008/11/universal-theme-patcher.html ]

3. The next step is the copying of the theme. Get into your just downloaded Elegant GRAY folder and open the
theme folder. You should see 4 items: 'Elegant GRAY' folder + 'Elegant GRAY Minimal' folder + 'Elegant GRAY.theme' + Elegant GRAY Minimal.theme'
Copy these items to C:\windows\resources\themes

4. Well at the moment you can select the visual style, but you are not having all its graphics. (Back/forward buttons, start orb..)
To add these graphics switch to the folder system files. You see I've put RC and RTM system files inside it. So use the right file
that fits to your system. First you have to take ownership of the original files.
[windows folder: explorer.exe; system32 folder: shell32.dll/explorerframe.dll]
If you are unsure how to do it, read this tutorial:

Then you should rename the original files to something different: e.g. explorer.exe to explorer.exe.BAK
Now you are able to copy the modified system files in the respective folder.
But be sure to make a backup before replacing the system files.

Definition of the diferent system files:

explorer minimal.exe is made for Elegant GRAY Minimal. If you want to use this version first rename it to exploerer.exe.

1. อันดับแรกลงฟ้อนครับ จากโฟลเดอร์ที่มันให้มา

2. ลง UxthemePatcher ครับจาก http://deepxw.blogspot.com/2008/11/universal-theme-patcher.html ถ้ามีแล้วข้ามเลย

3. จากไฟล์ที่โหลดมาเข้าโฟลเดอร์ theme มองหา
โฟลเดอร์ 'Elegant GRAY'
โฟลเดอร์ 'Elegant GRAY Minimal'
ไฟล์ 'Elegant GRAY.theme'
ไฟล์ 'Elegant GRAY Minimal.theme'

Copy ไปยัง to C:\windows\resources\themes

4. แล้วก็เลือกธีมจากหน้าเปลี่ยนธีมอ่าครับ แต่ตอนนี้ยังได้แค่รูปลักษณ์ พวกปุ่มอื่นๆยังไม่มี (Back/forward buttons, start orb..)
เพื่อที่จะเพิ่มให้เข้าไปที่โฟลเดอร์ System Files จากที่โหลดมา เลือกโฟลเดอร์ตามรุ่นของคุณ*

โดยคุณจะต้องแบ็คอัพจากโฟลเดอร์
- windows ไฟล์ explorer.exe
- system32 ไฟล์ shell32.dll/explorerframe.dll

ถ้าไม่สามารถก็อปไปวางได้ให้ไปที่ http://www.mydigitallife.info/2007/05/25/how-to-take-ownership-and-grant-permissions-in-windows-vista/
ให้คุณเปลี่ยนชื่อไฟล์เดิมเป็นชื่ออื่นเช่น explorer.exe เป็น explorer.exe.BAK
และคุณก็ก็อปปี้ไฟล์จาก* มาใส่ตามโฟลเดอร์ที่แบ็คอัพ

explorer minimal.exe สำหรับธีม Elegant GRAY Minimal ถ้าคุณจะใช้ให้เปลี่ยนชื่อเป็น exploerer.exe
