Tecmo Koei ได้เปิดเผยวันวางจำหน่ายเกม Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus แล้วนั่นก็คือวันที่ 22 กุมภาพันธ์ 2012 นั่นเอง ซึ่งตรงกับวันที่เครื่อง PS Vita วางจำหน่ายอย่างเป็นทางการที่อเมริกาและยุโรป Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus เป็นเวอร์ชั่นที่ Port มาจากเครื่อง PS3 แต่จะมี features ใหม่เพิ่มเข้าไปด้วยเช่น สามารถปรับมุมมองจากบุคคลที่หนึ่งเป็นบุคคลที่สามได้, เพิ่มการควบคุมแบบ gyro sensor เวลาซัดอาวุธลับใส่ศัตรู, เพิ่มการควบคุมด้วยระบบ rear touch pad ทางด้านหลัง และยังมีอีกมากมายที่ต้องไปสัมผัสเองในตัวเกม

Yosuke Hayashi หัวหน้าสตูดิโอของทีมนินจากล่าวว่า เรามั่นใจ Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus จะเปิดประสบการณ์ใหม่ๆที่น่าตื่นเต้นท้าทายให้กับผู้เล่น และแฟนๆเกมซี่รี่นี้ ใครที่กำลังรอเล่นเกมนี้อยู่ก็อดใจรอกันอีกนิดใกล้จะได้สัมผัสกันแล้วละครับ
