Resident Evil Revelations จะมีการปรับปรุงตัวเกมส์ด้วย ไม่เพียงแค่พอร์ตมาจาก 3DS อย่างเดียว ซึ่งอย่างแรกก็คือการปรับภาพให้เข้ากับคอนโซลและ PC มีความคมชัดของภาพมากขึ้น แสงเงาชัดเจนขึ้น และปรับปรุงการบังคับตัวละครให้เข้ากับจอยของเครื่องต่างๆ ซึ่งผู้เล่นจะได้สัมผัสกับประสบการณ์สยองไม่ต่างจากภาค 3DS แต่มาในแบบภาพสวยขึ้นเท่านั้น และยังมีการเพิ่มฟีเจอร์ใหม่ๆเข้าไปอีกเล็กน้อยด้วย อย่างเช่นเพิ่มศัตรูแบบใหม่ เพิ่มระดับความยาก ในโหมดเนื้อเรื่อง ส่วนโหมด Raid ที่เป็นการเล่นช่วยกัน Co-Op กับเพื่อนก็มีฟีเจอร์ใหม่เช่นกัน อย่างศัตรูใหม่ อาวุธใหม่ และพิเศษสุดกับระบบสคิล เหมือนกับภาค Resident Evil 6 เพิ่มมาให้เล่นโหมด Raid ได้ง่ายกว่าเดิม แถมยังมีตัวละครใหม่ๆมาให้เลือกเล่นในโหมด Raid ด้วย อย่างเช่น Hulk ทหารหน้าเก่าจาก Umbrella
