Men of War: Assault Squad เกมนี้จะกล่าวถือช่วงที่สงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2 ได้เข้าสู่จุดที่มีสงครามใหญ่กระจายไปทั่วทวีปยุโรป และเอเชียตอนบน โดยที่มีฝ่ายหลักอย่าง พันธมิตร (อเมริกา), โซเวียต และเยอรมัน ตัวเกมนั้นใช้การควบคุมแบบ Direct Control ที่สามารถจะทำการควบคุม Units ได้อย่างละเอียด ในการดำเนินภารกิจต่างๆ ในแต่ละ Mission ความสวยงาม และรายละเอียดของสิ้งต่างๆ ภายในเกมถือได้ว่าทำออกมาได้ดีมาก ให้รายละเอียดของสิ่งของในสมัยนั้นได้อย่างครบถ้วนมาก นอกจากนี้ตัวเกมยังรองรับระบบฟิสิกส์จึงทำให้รายละเอียดต่างๆ ของเหตุการณืที่เกิดขึ้นภายใน เกมนั้นสมจริงมากยิ่งขึ้น การควบคุมภายในเกมนั้นสามารถที่สมารถที่จะควบคุมได้ง่าย และค่อนข้างมีรายละเอียดเบอะ แต่ก็ไม่ยากจนเกินที่จะเข้าใจได้ กราฟิก และเสียงประกอดทำออกมาได้ดี และไม่กินทรัพยากรของเครื่องสูงมากนักถือว่าเป็นอีกหนึ่งเกมที่น่าเล่นเป็นอย่างมาก
