Mike Hickey นักวิเคราะห์จาก National Alliance Capital Markets คาดการณ์ถึงการวางจำหน่ายเกม Grand Theft Auto V เกมแอคชั่นชื่อดังจาก
Rockstar คาดว่าอาจหลุดการวางจำหน่ายกลางปี 2012 และวางจำหน่ายในช่วงเดือนมีนาคม 2013 แทน

Hickey กล่าวว่า เกมของค่าย Rockstar ตอนนี้จะมีเกม Max Payne 3 กับ Grand Theft Auto V ที่จะวางจำหน่ายราวเดือนพฤษภาคม 2012
ซึ่งมันจะไม่เป็นผลดีแน่ๆหากวางจำหน่ายเกมชื่อดังทั้ง 2 เกมในช่วงเวลานี้ ตนจึงเชื่อว่า​ Rockstar อาจต้องเลื่อนขายตามปฏิทินผลประกอบการบริษัทของปี 2013
ที่อยู่ในระหว่างเดือนกันยายน 2012 – มีนาคม 2012

Hickey ยังตั้งข้อสงสัยว่า ถ้าเกม Grand Theft Auto V วางจำหน่ายกลางปีจริง Rockstar ควรเริ่มทำการตลาดให้กับเกม Grand Theft Auto V
ตั้งแต่ตอนนี้ได้แล้ว ผิดจากเกม Max Payne 3 ที่เริ่มทำการตลาดไปบ้างแล้ว

ปล.ยังไม่มีแพลตฟอร์มแน่ชัด แต่ที่แน่ๆ Xbox360,PS3 ลงอยู่แล้ว(2 เครื่องนี้เหมาทุกเกม:rofl) จะลง PC ไหมแค่นั้น
