WARRIORS ALL-STARS ในส่วนของเรื่องย่อของเกมก็จะกล่าวถึงนักรบจากโลกอื่นๆ ที่ได้ถูกอัญเชิญเข้ามาช่วยเหลือดินแดนลึกลับที่กำลังจะล่มสลาย พร้อมกับหาสาเหตุที่แท้จริงของเรื่องราวที่เกิดขึ้น ซึ่งหลังจากที่พระราชาได้เสียชีวิตลง องค์หญิงทามากิ (Tamaki) ก็ได้ทำพิธีกรรมอัญเชิญผู้กอบกู้ดินแดนให้เข้ามาในอาณาจักร แต่เพราะเธอควบคุมพลังไม่ได้ จึงทำให้พลังแผ่กระจายจนมิอาจควบคุม โดยตำนานกล่าวไว้ว่า ในบรรดาผู้ที่ถูกอัญเชิญมานี้ หากใครชนะก็จะได้สวมมุงกุฏเป็นราชันย์คนใหม่เพื่อกอบกู้อาณาจักร แต่องค์หญิงก็ต้องพบอุปสรรคจากคู่แข่งของเธอคือ เซ็ทสึนะ (Setsuna) กับ ชิกิ (Shiki) ที่คอยตามมารังควาน ด้วยเหตุนี้สงครามเพื่อคืนความสุขจึงเริ่มต้นขึ้น

นอกจากนี้ ภายในตัวเกมเราจะสามารถเลือกพรรคพวกเพื่อทำเหตุการณ์ต่างๆ ตลอดจนสร้างความสัมพันธ์ที่ดีเพื่อให้ตัวละครปลดล็อคความสามารถพิเศษออกมาได้อีกด้วย
