Publisher: Ubisoft Entertainmentเกม "From Dust" เป็นผลงานล่าสุดของ "อีริค คาฮี" (Eric Chahi) ผู้สร้างที่เป็นที่รู้จักกันดีจากเกมพัซเซิลแพลตฟอร์ ม "Another World" ที่ออกในปี 1991 สำหรับเกม "From Dust" นี้ผู้เล่นจะได้รับบทเป็น พลังเหนือธรรมชาติ ที่ต้องคอยช่วยเหลือชนเผ่าพื้นเมืองทั้งหลายให้รอดพ้ นจากหายนะจากภัยพิบัติ ทางธรรมชาติต่างๆ โดยการเคลื่อนย้าย แผ่นดิน, ผืนน้ำ, พืชต้นไม้ และลาวา ท่ามกลางสภาพแวดล้อมของภูมิประเทศแถบเขตร้อน นอกจากนี้ผู้เล่นยังสามารถสร้างเส้นทางใหม่ๆให้กับชา วพื้นเมือง เพื่อปกป้องพวกเขาจากแผ่นดินไหวและภัยพิบัติต่างๆ และภัยพิบัติทั้งหลายนั้นสามารถเปลี่ยนให้เป็นประโยช น์ต่อผู้เล่นได้ ยกตัวอย่างเช่น ผู้เล่นสามารถใช้ประโยชน์จากสึนามิดับไฟป่าที่กำลังล ุกลามแทนที่จะเข้าท่วม กวาดล้างหมู่บ้านได้
