Kate วิศวกรเครื่องยนต์ประจำอยู่บนเรือสำราญขนาดใหญ่ แต่ที่น่าแปลกคือเธอเป็นคนที่มีความหลังฝังใจกับการน้ำทำให้เป็นโรคกลัวการลงไปในน้ำ แต่แล้วเรื่องที่ไม่คาดคิดก็เกิดขึ้น เมื่อบนเรือได้เกิดการก่อการร้ายขึ้นและทำให้ท้องเรือเกิดรอยรั่ว
ส่งผลให้น้ำเริ่มเข้ามาในเรือแล้ว แต่เรือมีขนาดค่อนข้างใหญ่ทำให้จมได้ยาก ต่อไปก็จะเป็นหน้าที่ของผู้เล่นแล้วที่จะต้องหาทางช่วยเหลือตัวเองและผู้โดยสารบนเรือให้หนีรอดออกจากเรือให้ได้ แต่ว่าอันตรายนั้นไม่ได้มีเพียงน้ำที่ไหลเข้ามาในเรือเท่านั้น
พวกผู้ก่อการร้ายที่ยังอยู่บนเรือก็อันตรายมากเช่นกัน
ผลงานจากสตูดิโอ Blade Interactive สตูดิโอนี้ได้มีการเขียนเอนจิ้นเกมของตัวเองซึ่งมุ่งเน้นไปที่เอฟเฟคของน้ำ โดยเอนจิ้นนั้นมีชื่อว่า HydroEngine แล้วนำมาสร้างเกมนี้เป็นผลงานแรกเลย ทางสตูดิโอได้โม้ไว้ว่า ถ้าคุณเห็นเอฟเฟคของน้ำในเกมนี้จะเห็นเลยว่ามันต่างจากเกมอื่นๆที่แล้วมา
เพราะน้ำในเกมนี้ถูกสร้างมาให้มีความสมจริงสูง ไม่ว่าจะเรื่องการไหลเวียนของกระแสน้ำ การสามารถทำให้เกิดฟองอากาศในน้ำ เกิดเอฟเฟคผิวน้ำเมื่อกระทบกับวัตถุต่าง และที่สำคัญคือตัวละครจะต้องเปียกด้วยเมื่อลงไปในน้ำ ประมาณว่าน้ำจริงๆเป็นยังไงในเกมก็จะทำให้ได้ยังงั้นเลย
