เกม Open World อาชญากรป่วนเมืองในสไตล์แบบเดียวกับ GTA ที่มีความเถื่อนดิบ ตี รัน ฟัน แทง กระจุย Saints Row The Third คงต้องบอกไว้ก่อนว่าเกมนี้เนื้อหาแรง!!! สุดโต่งเลยทีเดียว เนื้อเกมจะเป็นแนวตะลุยเมือง บุกยิง สารพัด ฉาก Action และลุย รวมถึงระบบใหม่ๆให้ปรับแต่งอาวุธอย่าง Customisable Weapons หรือระบบเลเวล แถมภาคนี้มีของเล่นใหม่อย่าง RC Car ที่เมื่อใช้กับยานพาหนะแล้วเราจะสมารถควบคุมมันได้ราวกับเราเข้าไปขับด้านในเลยทีเดียว ซึ่งเจ้าตัว RC Car ก็สามารถอัพเกรดเพื่อให้มันยึดยานพาหนะใหญ่ขึ้นได้ด้วย แน่นอนว่าเนื้อหาเกมนี้ไม่เหมาะกับเด็กต่ำกว่า 18 ปีอย่างแน่นอน ด้วยเนื้อหาที่ โหด เถื่อน และดิบ และยังจะ xxx -*- ทำให้เกมนี้ไม่ต่างจาก GTA หรือมากกว่าซะอีกเลยทีเดียว
