• If you have already installed products from Waves, then carefully read the file R2R.txt (Uninstall / Clean Up)
Uninstall/Clean Up
• The OS must have:
Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2012 x86 and x64
Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2013 x64
Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2015-2022 x64
Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime (used by CR8 Sampler)
• If you are installing a product from Waves for the first time, then run Setup Waves Ultimate v2023.03.26.exe
If you need NKS you also need to install VST2. Don't forget to add the VST2 path to Komplete Kontrol.
Scan or rescan plugins from your DAW. If you have updated, it is recommended to rescan.

Restarting Waves Background Servers
---------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- ----
This is useful when a background process is doing something wrong.
When the background servers are not working correctly, the following problems occur:
* Plugin scanning error (WaveShells returns 0 plugins)
* Preinstalled browser does not work
* COSMOS (also in CR8 Sampler browser) does not start or exits without license error
To get rid of the above, run the file R2R_Kill_Waves_Background_Process.cmd
Run these EXEs manually.
