Description:
John's Background Switcher is a program that periodically changes the wallpaper on your desktop. You can select individual photos, pictures, as well as entire folders from your computer, or from a variety of online sources - Flickr, Facebook, Instagram, etc., the full list is below. The program icon sits in the system tray (next to the clock) and changes the desktop background at a time interval you specify. You can configure where to get photos from and how to show them - one image, several or a mosaic of images. The type of mosaic is also customizable. Images are selected randomly and you never know what will be next, the mosaic is also formed from different, but specified by you, sources!

Working with John's Background Switcher is easy. In the main window, you can select sources, display method, set the update frequency, log in to source sites, configure behavior for secondary monitors. Additional settings are available in a separate dialog box by clicking the "More ..." button, where you can configure almost anything your heart desires. Maybe you want a 3-month calendar on your desktop, apply a sepia effect, add exclusions to previously favorite folders, assign hotkeys, or areas of the screen without wallpapers - it's all there. If this is not the case, write to the author, he says that he will add!

The John's Background Switcher tray icon allows you to open a control menu in which you can: start / pause wallpaper change, view the current image, redraw, return to the previous one, jump to the next one, to the "Do not show again" exclusion list, save the current one (useful for successful mosaics and liked photos from the network), send to twitter or email. mail.

Note:

Installation - removal:
John's Background Switcher is completely free and works on Windows 10 and 11 versions. It requires Microsoft.NET 4.8 to work, if not, the installation wizard will download and install it for you. During the installation process, you can choose additional options: install for everyone, shortcuts, English help and languages. If you have one of the previous versions of the program installed, just run the installer and it will update the program without having to uninstall your version! The program's uninstaller cleans all John's Background Switcher components from your computer without leaving a single trace.
