MPV Player - Dolby Vision, HDR to SDR Mode Portable RePack by Adventurer_Kun 0.35.1 [En]

Description:
This build converts Dolby Vision and HDR to SDR video by default for viewing on unsupported monitors.
It also connects subtitles of the same name and audio tracks from folders and subfolders next to the video.
The purpose of the assembly was maximum performance when playing video in new codecs on old hardware.
The ability to watch YouTube videos only in x264 codec, if you paste the link in the player via ctrl + v or drag the link from the browser to the player window.
MPV is a free cross-platform media player based on MPlayer/mplayer2. Released under the GNU General Public License version 2 plus (GPLv2+), with parts of the code under the GNU Lesser General Public License version 2.1 plus (LGPLv2.1+), some optional parts under the GNU General Public License version 3 (GPLv3).
Attention!
Converting Dolby Vision, HDR to SDR and the operation of the player is not guaranteed if your equipment is very old and the video card drivers too.
Any key combinations occur when the English language is on.
Switch is obtained only through the combination of win + space.
How to bind video extensions to the player:
Run this file as administrator MPV Player\installer\mpv-install.bat After running the file, a command line will open where extensions will be attached to the player. Once all extensions are bound, you can press Enter and select the default MPV player in the windows settings that open, or close the window.
How to cut a piece from a video:
[ switch to En layout ] Press the F1
key In the menu that opens, select the beginning of the segment by rewinding to the desired place, with the number 1 the beginning, the end with the number 2 , press e I advise you to read the information about managing the player under the spoiler: Player control , to accurately select the beginning and end of the segment. Encoding settings key o [En] Scale height - resolution CRF - video quality [lower number = better quality, higher = worse, 15 is the optimal size and quality]
The video is saved to C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Videos\

turn off subtitles and sound at the same time: the m key is very convenient when you need to make a GIF for a telegram, but in mp4 format.

adjust the position of the subtitles vertically: crtl + z or x
•
move the audio relative to the video: shift+3 move back 100ms, shift+4 move forward 100ms.

copy current video time: ctrl+c

Trigger a specific default track language if the tracks are embedded in the video:
Open the file \MPV Player\mpv\ mpv.conf in the text editor Notepad++ In the audio section, find the line --alang=ru,rus Change to the language you need
English --alang=en,eng
Japanese --alang=ja,jap
In the subtitles section, find the line --slang=rus,ru
and change to the language you need,
English --slang=en,eng
Japanese --slang=ja,jap
Trigger a default track by its name or number of audio channels:
The script is called trackselect, it works provided that the author of the distribution has registered the name of the tracks.
The script also supports external mka and mks tracks, if they also contain track names. We edit the MPV Player\script-opts\trackselect.conf file
in Notepad++ , enter the name of the group that voiced in expected_audio_words= , and the name of the team that did the subtitles in expected_sub_words= . You can register several commands that will be selected if they are available, putting the symbol / between the names. In preferred_audio_lang= and preferred_sub_lang=, we prescribe the language you need. Also between languages is placed /
Moreover, you can select an audio track even by channels by setting them in preferred_audio_channels= , here are the available ones: stereo/2/2.1/3/5.1/6/7.1/8

There is one thing, but for some reason this script does not recognize spaces in the name and the characters are different, so you have to replace them with .*

Skip the opening (music) or ending quickly:
• Often chapters are sewn into the video in which information about the beginning and end of the opening and ending.
Then you can switch between chapters through the keys Shift + 1 and Shift + 2, or by pressing the big arrows at the bottom left.
It is very convenient when you need to skip the opening or ending without manually looking for these places.

Additional player features for viewing Dolby Vision and HDR content:
• Convert Dolby Vision and HDR content to SDR video for viewing on non-compatible monitors by default.
Unlike PotPlayer, which can only do this with HDR by default, this build does it with the correct tonality (brightness).
The video becomes almost as bright as SDR video. I also used tone-mapping by choosing the bt.2446a conversion algorithm. Since for me it makes the picture closer to SDR. Comparisons between bt.2446a, st2094-40, hable, bt.2390
