Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light เกมส์แนวตะลุยด่านมุมมอง 3 มิติ เกมส์นี้เป็นผลงานจาก 3 ค่ายที่การันตีความสนุกคือ Square Enix, Eidos,Crytal Dynamics มุมมองการเล่นแบบมุมสูง โดยเราสามารถเลือก ลาล่า ครอฟ หรือเลือกจะเล่นเป็นคนป่าเผ่ามายัน อาวุธในเกมส์ก็จะมีหลากหลายรูปแบบ มากกว่า 30 ชนิดไม่ว่าจะมีด ปืน ผสมอาวุธและ upgrade อาวุธได้อีกด้วย

ผู้เล่นรับบทเป็น Lara Croft นักผจญภัยหญิง ภาคนี้ผู้เล่นจะได้ร่วมเล่นพร้อมกับเพื่อนอีกมิติหนึ่งอย่าง Xolotl หลังจากที่ปีศาจอันชั่วร้ายนามว่า Totec หลุดออกมายุคปัจจุบัน ผู้เล่นจะต้องจับตัว Totec เพื่อกลับไปยังอีกมิติที่ออกมาตั้งแต่แรก
