กำลังอยู่ระหว่างการพัฒนาควบคู่ไปกับ Xbox360 PS3 และพีซี โดยมีการแยกทีมขนาดเล็กออกมาเพื่อเพิ่มลูกเล่น
การใช้จอยแทบเล็ตซึ่งเป็นเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะของเครื่อง Wii U ด้วย

แต่ดาลตันก็ให้ความเห็นว่าเครื่อง Wii U จะเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เล่นเปลี่ยนอาวุธอุปกรณ์ได้แบบไม่ต้องเปิดเมนู ใช้วิธีแตะบน
จอแทบเล็ตแล้วเปลี่ยนของได้ในขณะที่กำลังวิ่งอยู่ ซึ่งเป็นการเปลี่ยนแปลงใหญ่แต่ก็ไม่ได้ทำให้รูปแบบการเล่นเสียไปจากเดิม

เกมซีรีย์ "ดาร์คไซเดอร์" จะเล่าเรื่องราวอิงจาก "Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse" ในคัมภีร์ไบเบิลฉบับพันธสัญญาใหม่
ทำเป็นเกมแอคชันผสมผสานการต่อสู้กับการลุยผ่านด่าน แก้ปริศนาเปิดทางไปต่อด้วยความสามารถพิเศษที่ค่อยๆปลดล็อกออกมาเป็นลำดับ
ซึ่งตัวเกมภาคแรกได้รับเสียงวิจารณ์ไปในทางบวกและถูกเปรียบเทียบว่านำรูปแบบของเซลด้ามารวมกับการต่อสู้แบบก็อดออฟวอร์

"ดาร์คไซเดอร์ 2" เป็นอีกหนึ่งเกมที่ได้รับการยืนยันว่าจะออกพร้อมเครื่อง Wii U โดยก่อนหน้านี้ทางค่ายเทคโมโคเอะก็มี "นินจาไกเด็น 3"
จ่อรออยู่ก่อนแล้ว ส่วนเกมอื่นที่ยังไม่แน่นอนว่าจะออกพร้อมเครื่องได้หรือไม่ก็มี "อาซาซินครีด 3" ของยูบิซอฟท์เป็นต้น
นินเทนโดยืนยันว่าจะมีตัวเครื่อง Wii U เวอร์ชันสมบูรณ์พร้อมรายละเอียดทั้งหมดไปแสดงในงาน E3 ปีนี้และคาดว่าจะออกขายจริงได้
ในช่วงเทศกาลวันหยุดปลายปี 2012 ส่วนเกมดาร์คไซเดอร์ 2 เวอร์ชันคอนโซลอื่นๆและพีซีจะวางจำหน่ายล่วงหน้าไปก่อนในวันที่ 26 มิถุนายนนี้
