Remnant II เป็นเกมภาคใหม่ที่พาพวกเราไปรับบทผู้รอดชีวิตจากการรุกรานของเหล่าอสูรกายใต้พิภพอีกครั้ง โดยจะยังคงมีเกมเพลย์การต่อสู้แบบยิงปืนผสมผสาน Souls-like เช่นเดิมพร้อมให้ผู้เล่นทดสอบความท้าทายกับศัตรูสุดโหด บอสขนาดยักษ์ และตามหาอาวุธ อัปเกรดความแข็งแกร่งเพื่อต่อกรกับพวกมันและทวงคืนมนุษยชาติกลับคืนมา นอกจากนี้ยังมีระบบสุ่มดันเจี้ยนให้เกมเพลย์แต่ละด่านไม่เหมือนกัน
