Bulletstorm เป็นเรื่องราวของสงครามในโลกยุคอนาคต ซึ่งโลกถูกปกครองโดยกลุ่มสหพันธ์ทหารรับจ้างที่มีชื่ อว่า Dead Echo ซึ่งใช้อำนาจปกครองผู้คนอย่างโหดร้ายและไร้มนุษยธรรม ทำให้ทางตัวเอก Grayson Hunt และ Ishi Sato เพื่อนของเขา รู้สึกตัวว่าเขากำลังอยู่กับฝ่ายที่ไม่ถูกต้องอยู่ จึงตัดสินใจทรยศไม่เชื่อฟังคำสั่งของ Dead Echo และถูกขับไล่ออกมาในที่สุด โดย 2 ปีหลังจากที่ถูกไล่ออกมาพวกเขาเปลี่ยนชีวิตตัวเองหัน เหมาเป็นโจรสลัดอวกาศ แต่ก็ยังไม่วายถูกพวก Dead Echo ที่ส่งทหาร Mutant ตามล่า Grayson Hunt และ Ishi Sato จึงตัดสินใจจะต้อสู้จนถึงที่สุด
