ขั้นที่ 1: ดาวน์โหลด 8.1 ISO
ขั้นที่ 2: เขียนใส่แผ่น หรือ ดาวน์โหลดเครื่องมือ ในการสร้างบูต USB ติดตั้ง
ขั้นที่ 3 เสียบ USB หรือ DVD ลงใน คอมพิวเตอร์
ขั้นที่ 4: Boot จากUSB / DVD (ส่วนใหญ่จะเป็น F12 )

ขั้นตอนที่ 8 : เมื่อ กล่องขึ้นมา บอกว่า " ความสำเร็จ " พิมพ์ slui 4 ใน Command Prompt

ขั้นตอนที่ 12 : กด 1 แล้ว #
ขั้นตอนที่ 13: ใส่รหัสจากหน้าจอที่ละชุด เมื่อกดเร็ค 1 ชุดให้กด #
ขั้นตอนที่ 14 : หากสำเร็จมันจะถามว่าเราใช้กี่เครื่องให้กด 1 หากไม่ได้ให้พิมพ์ slmgr.vbs -upk แล้วเริ่มใหม่ในข้อ 7 เลือก key ใหม่ครับ
ขั้นตอนที่ 15 : แล้วมันจะบอกเลขรหัสมา ให้นำเลขนั้นๆมากรอกให้หมด กด* ฟังซ้ำ กด # ไปเลขชุดถัดไป
ขั้นตอนที่ 16 : เปิดใช้งาน หรือ คลิก OK บน หน้าต่าง
ขั้นตอนที่ 17 : รีสตาร์ท เครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ จบ
