    Publisher: Black Shell Media
    Developer: Capribyte Studios
Genre: Action, Indie, RPG, Simulation, Early Access
    Language: English

    About the Game:
    -----------------------------------

DinoSystem is a 2D, top-down ecosystem and survival simulation that allows players to either manage the ecology of a randomly generated island (inhabited by dinosaurs), or survive in it as a human, dealing with realistic survival mechanics, and with a deep character progression system that tracks how your character's body adapts over time. Everything on the island is subject to biological and physical rules, and nothing comes from nothing: will you hunt the last dinosaur of its species for a steak, or will you protect it from extinction and make sure its eggs hatch? These are the dilemmas you'll face in the game, as long as YOU don't get extinct.

    Key Features:
    -----------------------------------

    * God: Manage the island ecology, change the weather, trigger devastating events, and see how the ecosystem adapts. NOTE: God mode still lacks a proper GUI and tools to fully interact with the world; expect it to be expanded throughout the Early Access phase.
    * Survival: Join the island as a stranded human, see how long you can survive as part of it, and how your body changes in the process; the game offers the option to play either with "casual" or "hardcore" difficulty. NOTE: there is no story yet as a background for the Survival mode, we're still working on it, and you can help us find a good one!
    * Ecology simulation: the game simulates a Cretaceous ecosystem populated mainly by dinosaurs, animals and plants don't "spawn"; they are born, then grow, reproduce and die.
    * DinoSystem uses a complex seasonal model that calculates day/night length, relative position of the sun, and influences the weather. Seasons transition is gradual, no sudden change between two seasons.
    * Realistic weather model that takes into account variables like time of day, humidity, temperature, and pressure; generating weather conditions like rain, snow, wind, sand/snowstorms, thunderstorm and fog.
    * Thunders can trigger huge wildfires, burning down entire forests.
    * Realistic water cycle: rain creates puddles that can either evaporate or grow into ponds and lakes. Evaporation takes into account air humidity, temperature and sun exposure.
    * Terrain changes according to factors like presence of water, weather, vegetation, and location. Any area can become fertile or arid, new forest or grasslands may form or disappear over time.
    * Fire (from torches to campfires and wildfires) consumes available fuel, releasing heat and light, and it's influenced by air humidity and wind; you body and all objects near a fire are heated up. Fire can spread to nearby vegetation and trigger a wildfire, if ambient conditions are favourable.
    * Animals AI allows them to survive in their world and adapt; they'll reproduce, care for their youngs, look for protection or compete for food and mating.
    * Each new island is randomized at game start, based on parameters set by the player.
    * Everything, from dead animals to branches, decomposes based on factors like temperature, humidity, and location. There is no "timer" after which an item or a carcass disappears.
    * Deep, complex and rewarding character progression system: metabolism, body muscles and fat change according to your lifestyle, and even your character's sprite changes in appearance to reflect this. Get fat to survive winter, get slim to be lighter and swifter, or get muscular to be stronger in combat and more capable of hard work, but make sure to eat enough proteins...
    * Needs like thirst and hunger are not just bars that drop at a constant rate: everything, from performing actions to metabolism and body weight, influence the rate at which you burn calories, consume water or get tired. For example, high temperature or intense activity make you sweat, requiring you to drink more water.
    * Dozens of skills, both mental and physical, that raise as you perform a particular action; but can also decay if you don't use them for a long time (only in "hard" difficulty!).
    * Crafting system allowing you to create items and weapons, advancing in technology at each step. NOTE: few items are craftable in the current Early Access build; expect many more to be added throughout the development!
    * Foods with different nutrition values: meat is valuable because of proteins, but make sure you cook it...

    อัพเดทเพิ่มแพท DINOSYSTEM - แพท v0.5.0.0r188 [Alpha] - (Steam Early Access) - (เวอร์ชั่นอัพเดท 8/ก.ย./2015)

    โค้ด:
    DINOSYSTEM - Update History:
    ==================================================

    ### Update v0.5.0.0 - Shelter System! ###
    GRAPHICS:
    - Dynamic shadows coming from different objects do not overlap anymore, but are homogeneous.
    - Dynamic shadows are slightly more intense with sunlight.
    - Added missing blood to tyrannosaurus carcass.
    - Trees are slightly more trasparent when player is beneath them or hide vegetation mode is enabled.
    - Fire effect slightly improved.

    SOUNDS:
    - Added a "burp" sound playing occasionally when the character eats and becomes full.
    - Added tree falling sound to trees fallen during their natural life cycle (sound when falling a tree with chopping was already there).
    - Wind sound, in Survival mode, is now reduced by proximity to insulating objects (like boulders or walls).
    - Some sounds don't trigger if game timescale is too fast.

    INTERFACE:
    - Added advanced character info screen:
.....Right HUD survival panel with metabolism, muscle, skills etc removed.
.....All info moved to a screen that can be enabled with Tab (character info screen).
.....Character info screen shows more details and a tooltips for every variable, so that you don't require to follow the tutorial to understand what's going on.
.....Added a new icon on the left HUD survival panel showing character's Strength.
.....Guide and tutorial updated to reflect this change, removing some redundant info from it.

    - Equip icons now have stylized background images, making much easier to understand what each icon is for.
    - Added a new text in the Survival UI panel showing air humidity level.
    - Temperature bar in Survival UI panel reworked to be more understandable.
    - All UI bars slightly polished.
    - Insulation indicator in Survival now also shows when protected by clothes or bedroll.
    - Hovering the mouse over the cloud icon now shows the cloud coverage %, in addition to the sun exposure.
    - Water indicator in God now also shows number of ponds/pond beds.
    - While sleeping, the sleep quality warning now also shows when you're sleeping in water or rain.
    - Breath bar turns red when breath is below 25.
    - Hovering the mouse on Soreness icon shows the level of danger associated with the value (fine, high, too high).
    - Bar icons (Health, Stamina, Hydration etc) now flash if the related bar is dangerously low.
    - While inspecting an Animal, the screen centers on its head, not the center of its body.
    - Added a message in the main menu suggesting to avoid loading older saves after a major game update, to prevent gamebreaking bugs.
    - Improvements to various interface button names and tooltips.

    SETTINGS:
    - Snapshot feature now takes snapshots automatically and places them in Documents/DinoSystem/History folder; you'll no longer need to manually save them every time.
    - When taking an automatic snapshot, weather is no longer visible, so the island is not hidden behind a layer of clouds.
    - Medium and low graphics settings now disable another subtle effect to improve performance.
    - Added an option to also turn off the hint pop-up messages "beep" sound, along with the warning one.
    - Shapshots are now taken every 2 days, instead of 4.

    CONTROLS:
    - Equip Mode can be now enabled by dragging an item on the character sprite center, as an alternative to pressing E.
    - F1 is now used to open the game guide, instead of Tab.
    - A/D keys are now used to rotate a dragged object in Survival, instead of R key, also Middle Mouse can be used to rotate clockwise.
    - R key is now used to enable/disable Combat mode, instead of C key.
    - C key is now used to quickly switch between Mouse turning and A/D turning, instead of T key.
    - You can now only stash an object in a container (while dragging it) by pressing F.
    - During action selection or crafting, pressing Esc will interrupt them, instead of opening the game menu.

    SURVIVAL:
    - Added building system:
.....You can now build Stone Wall and Thatch from the Crafting menu! (right click on the character -> Craft/Build).
.....Stone Wall, just like Boulders, offer insulation protection from wind, but since the bonus is given by every wall section and it can stack, it's much more efficient than Boulders.
.....Thatch, like trees, protects from rain, snow and sunlight, but it's better.
.....By fully enclosing yourself with walls and ceiling, wind, rain, snow and sunlight have no longer effect on you, your fire or your stuff.
.....Stone Wall is damaged by any animal that happen to hit it, depending on the animal mass and speed. A huge T-Rex can easily smash a wall, but it can't see you if you hide behind it.
.....Thatch is damaged by the wind, just like trees.
.....There is not yet a way to repair or dismantle walls and ceiling, those abilities will be added probably in next update.
.....Added Building skill, which determines the speed at which you build Fire Pit (which is now considered a structure, not an object), walls and ceilings, and their final quality.
.....More walls and ceiling types, of different materials, will be added in future updates.

    - Added Torch:
.....Torch is crafted from a Branch and a Bandage.
.....Just like the Branch, Torch is can be lit holding it with one hand and placing it on a fire.
.....Torch stay lit for much longer than a Branch before consuming.

    - Hardcore difficulty can now only be choosen when starting a new game in Survival mode, to prevent players from creating a favourable island in God mode or gathering resources with previous characters, and then starting a new character on Hardcore (Hardcore mode is supposed to be played without exploits!).
    - Added a "sound wave" visual effect when a Tyrannosaurus is close and you can hear its steps: this effect allows to have an idea of the animal position and distance even if it is not visible on the screen.
    - Sand/snowstorm damage has now a minimum treshold below which it does not trigger: this means if you find a place protected enough from the kind of wind causing the sand/snowstorm, you will not lose any health and the message will not show.
    - All objects must be in the character line-of-sight in order to interact with them: you can't drink from a pond that is behind a boulder, and you can't pick up a stone that is from the other side of a wall.
    - Shivering sound doesn't play during resting, as it sounds odd with the faster time scale.
    - Character head now turns towards the inspected object (with MMB or F on the object), if there are no other priorities drawing your attention.
    - Character head position relative to body now varies based on body shape: a bigger belly or muscles means your body posture is different.
    - Improved character body sprite shape calculation based on fat and muscle.
    - Character insulation (from wind) mechanics expanded and refined.
    - Chance to break a stone used for carving reduced from 7.5% to 5% base (depending on Crafting skill).
    - Jump height treshold required to jump across boulders reduced.
    - When running while wielding a weapon, arm with the weapon will no longer swing with the body.
    - Dropping 2 objects held in hands with Q will place them in a slightly different position, not in the same exact spot, causing the objecs to perfectly overlap.
    - Turning speed when moving is now influenced by the Athletics skill: the more athletic you are, the quicker you turn while running to avoid obstacles or chasing a prey! This means with 0 skill you are much slower than you were previously, but with 50 already, you are quicker, and with 100 you're lightning fast. This now also applies to Mouse Turning.
    - Turning speed when NOT moving is now a bit faster.
    - When clicking to attack an animal or chop a tree with the left mouse, the character turns much more quickly towards it, so there are less chances to miss the target.
    - When attacking while Mouse Turn is enabled, the character quickely turns towards the attack target (it previously happened only when turning with A/D keys).
    - Projectiles now stop also when hitting the volcano + improved mechanics.
    - Projectiles hitting an obstacle (like a boulder) are now immediately retrieveable (they are no longer "stuck" into the boulder).
    - When hoving the mouse over a craftable item, green arrows now show the components that will be used to craft it, if they are available nearby.
    - When failing to craft because of missing skill or component, the crafting window doesn't close anymore, but it just tells you why it didn't work.
    - Some crafting recipes changed to be a bit more complex to craft: bow, arrows, quiver.
    - Added a way to extinguish a fire: if a fire is less than 50%, the Player can gradually extinguish it by jumping on it, taking into account character body size and fire strength.
    - Catching fire interrupts every actions the character was performing.
    - It is now possible to sharpen when very close to a boulder, it was forbidden previously for some reason.
    - Player collision system (with obstacles) improved.
    - Eating action animation slightly improved: the food is closer to the head, regardless of body size.
    - Improved character animations for some actions.

    ANIMALS:
    - Tyrannosaurus will no longer attack the Player while chasing another prey (unless he's attacking/touching it).
    - Tyrannosaurus can now eat a carcass that is on shallow sea.
    - Animal collision system improved, and a bigger animal will now avoid a smaller one (or wake up when touched by it) only if it is big enough to be considered an obstacle.
    - Animal carcasses and skeletons take much longer to rot, and decay mechanics revised and improved.
    - Rotting animal carcasses become more and more green-ish as they decay.

    VEGETATION:
    - Ferns become dry only after an age treshold, not also when dying from lack of energy.
    - Ferns become dry much faster on exhausted/arid terrain.
    - Vegetation fading out animation when disappearing takes 0.5 sec, instead of 1.0.
    - Tree falling event happens in 0.5 sec, instead of 1.0.

    OBJECTS:
    - Objects dropped on water now make a spash sound + effect.
    - Object status (wetness, exposure to weather, etc) is now instantly updated when the object is dropped by the player (usually, it updates every 10 sec to save CPU work).
    - When used, Bedroll and Pelt take longer to decay; the process was definitely too fast.
    - Improved how objects fall from obstacles (like boulders or walls).

    WEATHER & SEASONS:
    - When rain starts on first autumn day, it won't end until day 2.
    - Droughts can now end the last day of summer, if rain happens.

    TERRAIN:
    - Added a new terrain desertification variable that gradually turns a random fraction of the map into arid. This creates more terrain variety on the long term.
    - Major terrain mechanics tweaks and balance improvements.

    WATER:
    - Major pond mechanics tweaks and balance improvements.

    FIRE:
    - Fire insulation (from wind) mechanics expanded and refined.
    - Maximum fire size/strength capped at 1000%.
    - Many small improvements to the fire logic.

    TUTORIAL:
    - Tutorial improved in some areas, cut some redundant parts.

    GAME GUIDE:
    - Guide updated, expecially the controls list.

    OPTIMIZATION:
    - Some optimizations to the Survival interface.
    - Optimizations to projectiles mechanics.
    - General optimizations.

    FIXES:
    - Fixed a rare bug that caused some tree canopies to have different shape and size than their shadow, after map generation.
    - Fixed a minor bug triggering while attacking with Mouse Turn option enabled that did produce an odd animation, making the character move at a different angle than the one it was pointing to.
    - Added missing crafting pre-requisites info to the Backpack crafting button.
    - Resiliance skill increase message is no longer shown while sleeping.
    - Fixed tutorial window being destroyed if dragged outside the game screen (this also fixes character death screen not appearing, in that circumstance).
    - Fixed a rare instance where the screen didn't turn black while sleeping.
    - Fixed a rare bug that freezed the Player when failing to craft an item.
    - Fixed a rare bug that could cause the character sprite to keep "swinging" even if not moving, when pausing/unpausing the game.
    - Fixed camera sometimes moving automatically when switching to God mode.
    - Fixed character body occasionally showing 2 right arms when attacking with a bow and moving at the same time.
    - Fire was not being protected from the wind by boulders and other insulators, as supposed to; fixed.
    - Some fixes in the way objects are put into containers (which now can be done by pressing F key, se the Controls changes).
    - Fixed screen resolution being reverted to "high" when loading a save where it was set to "low".
    - Fixed God Mode weather slider bars glitching if pressing any key while using them.
    - Fixed hour indicator jumping 1 hour ahead in Survival Mode at the end of day 2.
    - Varius small fixes I forgot to report.

    DINOSYSTEM - Update History:
    ==================================================

    ### Hotfix v0.5.1.1 + info about the next update ###
This update IS compatible with old savegames!

    FIXES:
    - Fixed the infamous "insomniac bug" which prevented the character from sleeping. If for some reason it still happens to you, just save and reload and the game will "force-fix" it.
    - Fixed a bug preventing the player from deconstructing a Thatch, if there is more than one on the map.
    - Fixed left arm occasionally swinging while jumping, which was hilarious.
