Changes
Dwarves base carrying capacity increased from 3 to 4.
Dwarves level much faster (especially levels 2-6).
Dwarves base movement is 20% faster when walking, 75% faster when climbing walls, and 100% faster when climbing ladders.
Dwarves automatic rest threshold changed from 40% to 50%.
Slugs have a very small chance to drop gems (1%) and mithril (0.1%).
Beetles can drop dirt (10%) and sand (25%).
Chickens can drop stone (50%).
Sheep can drop extra wool (50% for +1, 25% for +2) and have meat drop variance (50% for +1 instead of always +1).
Boars and snow turtles have leather drop variance (50% chance for +1, 25% for +2 instead of always +1).
Spiders can drop dirt (25%) and webs (50%).
Zombies can drop coal (20%) and iron (10%).
Bloated zombies can drop coal (x2 60%), iron (25%), silver (x2, 10%), and gold (2%).
Skeletons can drop coal (10%), roots (5%), stones (20%), and gold (3%).
Skeleton knights can drop coal (20%), roots (10%), stones (40%), gold (6%), and mithril (2%).
Ghosts (the one that harasses your storage) can drop mithril (0.1%).
Yetis will drop more tallow.
Sofas and beds can be placed adjacent to other objects.
The recipe for creating oil from berries and stone now yields 4 oil instead of 1.
The recipe for creating seeds from wheat now yields 5 seeds instead of 2.
The recipe combining 8 wood + 1 dirt to produce 1 coal has been removed.
A recipe for combining 3 wood to produce 1 coal has been added.
A recipe for combining 4 stone to produce 1 iron has been added.
A recipe for combining 2 iron to produce 6 needles has been added.
A recipe for combining 3 mithril ingots + 2 gold ingots to produce a mithril pick has been added.
A recipe for combining 2 mithril ingots + 2 gold ingots to produce a mithril axe has been added.
A recipe for combining 2 mithril ingots + 2 gold ingots + 2 needles + 1 quartz to produce a mithril hammer has been added.
A recipe for combining 4 mithril ingots to produce a mithril sword has been added.
A recipe for combining a pink crystal, gold ingot, and mithril ingot to produce some magic boots has been added.
The invasion horde will only contain skeletons and skeleton knights, no zombies or
beholders.
All monsters that can drop weapons or equipment now have a much higher chance to drop that equipment
Installation Instructions
Here's how to get my mod working for you. Please note that you will need CraftTheWorld version 1.0.000 released November 25, 2014 to use this mod. Any time the game is updated, I will have to publish a new version of the mod.
Close down CraftTheWorld if it's open.
Make a backup of your main.pak file in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\CraftTheWorld
(assuming you have Steam installed in C:\Program Files (x86) -- your actual path may vary)
Notes
You will have to start a new game if you're coming from the standard game (not upgrading from a different version of my mod). You won't be able to keep any existing progress -- changes in crafting trees causes lots of issues with existing games.
You'll need a random recipe scroll drop (from chopping trees or mining) for the first few recipes before the crafting tree unlocks when playing sandbox mode; the recipes I've added won't show up in the crafting tree.
