ไฟนอลแฟนตาซี VII รีเมค เป็นเกมเวอร์ชันรีเมคในรูปแบบความละเอียดสูง จากเกมไฟนอลแฟนตาซี VII ของบริษัท สแควร์ซอฟท์ ในปี 1997 ที่พัฒนาสำหรับเครื่องเพลย์สเตชัน โดยข่าวลือนั้นมีมาหลายปีหลังจากโปรเจกต์สื่อที่เกี่ยวข้องกับไฟนอลแฟนตาซี VII ออกมา และจากเดโมของไฟนอลแฟนตาซี VII บนเครื่อง เพลย์สเตชัน 3 โดยมีการประกาศอย่างเป็นทางการเมื่อวันที่ 15 มิถุนายน 2015 ว่าจะพัฒนาลงบนเครื่องเพลย์สเตชัน 4 ก่อนเป็นลำดับแรกและจะมีการพัฒนาลงบนแพลตฟอร์มอื่นๆในภายหลัง
