### Early Access Evolution 7 - New cheats, scenarios and Español, Português & Italiano! (update 0.7.3) ###
It's taking more time than planned to get the big feature we mentioned last time ready, so thought we would give you something else to infect with in the meantime.
We have four new official scenarios for you. You can now resurrect a 30,000 year old frozen virus or destroy humanity in a world of mass-produced artificial organs. For you movie buffs out there, you can also see if you can also try killing humanity with the Nipah Virus - the star of the film Contagion.
Also, quite a few people have been asking for improved cheat functionality. As well as adding three new cheats, you can now use the cheats on any disease type you like! You are also able to use multiple cheats at the same time, providing you with endless variations Wink
On top of this, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese languages have now been added - slowly infecting more people Wink. If you want to see your language added, come help translate (more info here).
Still working hard on the next big thing, expect something in a few weeks time.
Plague Inc: Evolved - Update 0.7.3 full change log:

### Early Access Evolution 6 released - Official Scenarios (update 0.7.1) ###
This update brings a major new gameplay system to Plague Inc: Evolved in the form of the Official Scenarios. Develop new strategies and approaches for 14 distinct scenarios covering a world economy destroyed by a US debt default all the way through to the resurgence of the medieval Black Death!Scenarios significantly increase the amount of content giving you new challenges and experiences to test your skills to the limit.
There are two main types of scenario:
Real life diseases begin the game with fully evolved, real life pathogens like the Black Death, Swine flu or Smallpox. Players can model how an outbreak would happen in real life as well as mutating the pathogen to try and get it to infect the whole world.
Alternative universes choose a pathogen to infect a world that has been impacted by something like a US Debt default, an outbreak of xenophobia or a new mini ice age. Players can see how different events can shape the ability of the world to respond to global pandemics and work out how to best exploit the new conditions.
We will also be adding more scenarios in the future, as well as giving you the opportunity to create your own in the custom scenario creator. As for what's next, we are hard at work on Evolution 7, which is going to be a big one! It's going to take us a few weeks to get it ready and we will share more information soon - so make sure to keep an eye on the forums.

### Early Access Evolution 5 released - Français, Deutsch, Русский and Necroa Virus fixes (update 0.6.6) ###
This update adds the first of our community translations - Français, Deutsch and Русский! Thank you to everyone that was involved :) It should auto-select language, but you can also find them in the accessibility tab in Options.
We identified and fixed a bug with Z Com which was stopping them fighting zombies effectively. As a member of the human race, you will be pleased to know that humanity is much better protected against zombies :p As a deadly virus, you may not be pleased...
There are also some new Video options to adjust for different performance computers, and a few other tweaks/fixes, including acheivement unlocks.

In the next update we will be adding the official scenarios! Including the Black Death, Small Pox and Global Warming.

###Early Access Evolution 4 released - The Necroa Virus (update 0.6.5)###
This update has a bit of a ... bite to it :P I am very excited to announce the arrival of the Necroa Virus which adds zombies into the game and is one of the most popular disease types ever!
The Necroa Virus is an aggressive, unknown virus with extreme regenerative abilities. Prepare for a new, apocalyptic challenge with radical new gameplay, strategy, evolutions and graphics. Use active abilities like Zombie Horde in the battle against Z Com humanitys last defense against the dead! You can also customise your Necroa Virus with 5 new genes...
The update also includes a number of fixes, tweaks and additions - see below for more. Steam should automatically download this update.
Please note - all your progress and unlocks will be saved - however, old individual save files will no longer work with this update as we have made changes to save format.

###Evolution 3 released - Speed Runs (update 0.6)###
Speed Run mode challenges you to beat the game as quickly as possible and lets you compare your record against friends.
In order to eradicate the world quickly - you will have to explore radically different strategies to give an edge over the pesky humans. How quickly can you kill the world?
The update also includes a number of fixes, tweaks and additions - see below for more. Steam should automatically download this update - will you be the quaranTIME* champion?!
Next week - James is going to the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. Bad news is that this will mean the next Evolution will be a bit slower. (release the week of the 24th of March) Good news is that it will add the much requested Necroa Virus (inc. zombies).

###Minor hotfix 0.5.6 released###
The release of major content update Evolution 2 added the Neurax Worm as well as a few unwanted bugs (the bad sort)!
This update is a quick bugfix update to address issues around unlocking of cheats and display of biohazard medals and a few other tweaks. Thanks everyone who helped us track these issues down.

It's only been a week since Plague Inc: Evolved started infecting Steam via Early Access and now major Evolution 2 (Early Access update 0.5.5) is live! It adds the mind-controlling Neurax Worm - an invasive organism that burrows into the brain of its host to control them! The Neurax Worm is a brand new plague type with new graphics, music, events, and victory conditions - requiring very different strategies. Living deep in the jungle for thousands of years, human advancement into its natural habitat has brought it into contact with humans for the first time and given it the means to spread...The update also includes a number of fixes, tweaks and additions - see below for more.
